# Getting Started

### Supported versions

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt v4.04 (latest version) is **required** to play Witcher Online. Classic edition and any versions older than v4.04 REDkit June 2024 are not supported. Verify the game files through Steam/GOG/Epic Games to ensure you have the most recent of the game installed.

### Read before installing!

This will be a guide that will get Witcher Online up and running, with only the required mods included.

### Guides

Do not use a mod manager to install the client for Witcher Online. \
The installation should be done manually or else issues will occur.
